Things you need to know.

Clothing - If you are in for the fishing season, which runs from June to September, medium weight clothing is in order and anglers are advised to bring waders or long rubber boots, a long rain coat or water proof clothing. If you are in for the hunting season, you should consider bringing light woolen outer clothing, supplemented with thermal under clothing, light knee length rubber boots, rain gear, gloves, hat, and woolen socks.

Binoculars and Cameras - A good pair of binoculars is most important to size up your trophy - 7X35 is a good choice. A camera is recommended since there will be many scenes you will want to remember.

Rifles - The most popular calibers are the 30:06 and the 308, since either has sufficient knock-down power and range for our game here in Newfoundland. A 2 1/2 to 4 powered scope is very useful.
